NEW YORK, NY  [Friday May.20.2005]  /1075zrock.com/ -- Rock 'n' roll legends the Rolling Stones are gearing up for a huge world tour and, for the US leg, they've booked some great opening acts to warm up the stadium crowds.

Pearl Jam, Maroon 5 and the Black Eyed Peas are among the acts to support the Stones on the upcoming On Stage Tour, according to the Rolling Stones' official Web site. The John Mayer trio and the Tragically Hip will also join Mick Jagger and company for select dates. More opening acts are expected to be announced prior to the tour's kick-off in August.

The Black Eyed Peas get things started in Boston on August 21 and 23, while Maroon 5 is on board for August 26 in Hartford and August 31 in Detroit. Maroon 5 also opens the September 3 show in Moncton, New Brunswick, along with the Tragically Hip.

On September 28, Pearl Jam handles opening duties for the Stones' performance in Pittsburgh. John Mayer will play the October 3 concert in Washington, D.C., as well as the October 10 show in Philadelphia.
